IDF: Following repeated violations of the ceasefire by the Hezbollah terrorist organization, the IDF struck throughout the night and continues to strike Hezbollah terrorists and infrastructure sites in several areas across southern Lebanon.
IDF: A short while ago, the Israeli Air Force intercepted several rockets launched toward IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon. Several additional rockets fell adjacent to the soldiers. No injuries were reported.
No sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.

Due to operational requirements, the IDF is deployed in the Security Zone, approximately 10 kilometers inside Lebanese territory.
IDF soldiers are stationed in the designated area of operation in southern Lebanon, and will continue to remove threats and strengthen the defense of Israel’s northern residents.

In the incident in which Master Sergeant (Res.) Alexander Filin fell, an IDF officer, an IDF reserve officer, and an additional reserve soldier were moderately injured. Furthermore, in the incident, a combat NCO, two reserve soldiers, and a female reserve soldier were lightly injured.
The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment, and their families have been notified.

Within minutes: the IDF dismantled the launcher from which Hezbollah fired rockets at IDF soldiers
A few minutes after the Hezbollah terrorist organization launched rockets toward IDF soldiers, the Israeli Air Force struck the launcher, which was loaded and ready to fire additional rockets. As a result of the strike, additional rockets were launched from the launcher and fell in open areas in southern Lebanon.

The IDF eliminated two Hamas military wing terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th massacre
Yesterday (Tuesday), the IDF struck in the central Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Ahmad Abu Hin, a Hamas military wing sniper cell commander, and Mahmoud Walid Jabr Abu Hin, a Hamas terrorist.
Both terrorists infiltrated Israeli territory during the brutal October 7th massacre.
In recent months, the terrorists have been involved in efforts to reestablish Hamas' terrorist capabilities in violation of the ceasefire agreement and to advance terrorist attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.
Both terrorists posed an immediate threat to IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip and were eliminated in precise strikes.
Prior to the strikes, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.

IDF: Earlier today (Wednesday), an IDF soldier was severely injured, two IDF soldiers were moderately injured, and two additional soldiers were lightly injured as a result of an explosive drone impact in southern Lebanon.
The soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital, and their families have been notified.
