Azamat Karamatov is appointed as the CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan
The CEO, Azamat Odilovich will be responsible for strategic tasks such as developing the country's information technology sector, supporting the startup and venture ecosystem, expanding the activities of IT Park Uzbekistan members, increasing IT service exports, and attracting international technology companies to Uzbekistan.
He will also coordinate efforts to ensure the effectiveness of IT Park Uzbekistan's operations, develop innovative projects, and implement initiatives in the digital economy.
Prior to his new appointment, he served as the CEO of IT Park Ventures LLC, a subsidiary of IT Park Uzbekistan.

The LEAP 2026 summit will take place on
April 13–16, 2026, in Malham, near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
. Known as the
“Digital Davos,” LEAP
is one of the world’s most influential technology events, bringing together startups, global tech companies, investors, and innovation leaders from across the MENA region and beyond.
IT Park Uzbekistan will cover the exhibition stand costs. Participating startups are responsible
for travel, accommodation, visa, and logistics expenses
. Participation of a founder or C-level representative is strongly encouraged.
Eligibility criteria:
— English-language product interface (required)
— Arabic interface (an advantage)
— Product ready for live demonstrations
— Functional demo environment or accounts
— Clear international market relevance
— Existing commercial traction preferred
— Customers outside CIS markets preferred

• 2026-yil 1-apreldan “Raqamli startaplar” dasturida ishtirok etayotgan loyihalarga IT Park rezidenti maqomi beriladi.
• Prezident qaroriga muvofiq, startaplar uchun ta’lim va akseleratsiya xarajatlarining 50% gacha (20 ming dollargacha) qismi qoplanadi.
• Shuningdek, startap studiyalari va akseleratsiya markazlarini tashkil etish uchun 5 milliard so‘mgacha foizsiz ssuda ajratiladi.

New Support Mechanisms for Startups
• Starting April 1, 2026, projects participating in the “Digital Startups” program will receive IT Park member status.
• According to the Presidential resolution, up to 50% of education and acceleration costs (up to $20,000) will be covered for startups.
• In addition, interest-free loans of up to UZS 5 billion will be allocated for establishing startup studios and acceleration centers.
• Successful startups will also receive advance payment opportunities in public procurement contracts.

IT Park Uzbekistan at Mobile World Congress
A delegation led by Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, showcased the country’s IT ecosystem, startups, and investment opportunities at Mobile World Congress (MWC).
The delegation includes Uzinfocom, Geomotive, Moneff, A-One Project, Vades Group, and Mirasoft. IT Park Uzbekistan’s First Deputy CEO Jakhongir Radjabov held a series of meetings with international partners.
In particular, meetings were held with representatives of Amazon Web Services (AWS), ICEX, ACCIO, Bizkaia, Barcelona Activa and other international organizations and technology companies, where the parties discussed infrastructure cooperation, AI initiatives, startup support programs, and opportunities for developing the technology ecosystem.

Bekobod Innovative Youth IT Center Opens
On March 7, 2026, the Bekobod Innovative Youth IT Center was officially opened in Bekobod district of the Tashkent region. The ceremony was attended by Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Zaynilobiddin Nizomiddinov, khokim of Bekobod district, Farkhod Ibragimov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IT Park Uzbekistan, and Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan.
During the event, interactive sessions on IT literacy, robotics, and startup pitching were organized for young participants. Startups from the IT Park Tashkent region incubation program presented their projects, including Joymee, Med Mopp, USD System, Agro Trade, and Orzu Reja.
The new center will launch training programs in programming fundamentals, English for IT, computer literacy, robotics, and startup entrepreneurship.
