MDIST Students Achieve Success at the Young Designers Award – RETHINK 2026
✨
MDIST Studio Fashion Design students took part in the
Young Designers Award – RETHINK
, organised in collaboration with Heimtextil Uzbekistan, supported by Apparel Resources Uzbekistan and Texworld Uzbekistan, in partnership with Messe Frankfurt.
Held on 14 October 2026, the event provided a valuable platform for young designers to present their creative ideas, connect with industry professionals and explore new opportunities in the fashion and textile industry.
We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our students:
🏆
Asilaxon Boboxonova
was awarded the opportunity to visit Heimtextil in Paris, France, in January 2027, including a three-night stay.
👏
Robiyaxon
Tojiboyeva
earned the opportunity to showcase her products at next year’s fair in Uzbekistan, following the audience vote.
Throughout the competition, our students received guidance and mentorship from
Olima Khayitova
and
Hilal Karakaş
, Acting Head of School, MDIST Studio Fashion Design Programme.
Dr. Melis Baloglu
also joined the event as a jury member.
These achievements mark an important step in our students’ professional journeys, giving them opportunities to gain international exposure, showcase their work and build connections with industry professionals.
