and held an engaging and friendly meeting with the students.
During the visit, students were introduced to the university’s
opportunities, faculties
and
scholarships.
The students also had the opportunity to personally meet and talk with
PTU Rector, Dr. Abdumalik Djumanov,
gaining valuable insights into university life and future academic paths.

PTU x QUB: New Partnership on the Horizon
We are pleased to announce that
Queen’s University Belfast – ranked #198 in the world
– is preparing to sign an agreement with PTU.
This collaboration marks an important step in PTU’s global integration. Today,
two PTU-affiliated scholars are already conducting their PhD research at Queen’s
, supported by the
“El-Yurt Umidi
” Presidential Fund. Their academic journey reflects the growing international presence of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical education.
With the upcoming agreement, we look forward to expanding this partnership even further — including the possibility of
offering Queen’s University Belfast programmes and degrees at PTU
in the nearest future.

Unfortunately, in the current era of globalization, drug abuse and drug-related crimes have become a serious threat among young people. In pursuit of momentary “pleasure” or “easy income,” many young men and women put their lives, dreams, and the future of their families at risk. Preventing this harmful vice from deeply taking root in our society requires responsibility and vigilance from all of us.

of our country. Your health, thirst for knowledge, and strong will are the solid foundation of our nation’s development. Never fall under the influence of the false belief that
“trying once causes no harm.”
Drug abuse is a destructive force that eats away a person from within and shatters dreams. Your greatest strength is your sound thinking, correct choices, and firm position.

Let us maintain constant communication with our children, listen to them, and never spare our care and attention. When trust and love are strong in a child’s life, they will never be led astray. Being aware of the environment they are in and the people they communicate with is one of the most important requirements of our time.

Promoting a healthy lifestyle in educational institutions and informing students about the tragic consequences of drug abuse is one of today’s most urgent tasks. Every lesson and every educational conversation should form a sense of responsibility, moral values, and patriotism in the hearts of young people.

Let us all unite and further strengthen our vigilance. In the fight against drug abuse, we must not remain indifferent and should take firm measures in cooperation with law enforcement agencies. Because every act of indifference is a threat directed at our future.
