Many students find it difficult to pay attention or concentrate at school. What are the reasons and solutions?
In an era of outdated teaching methods and heavy academic pressures, it has become increasingly difficult for schoolchildren to stay focused on their lessons. While this problem can be attributed to a range of factors, I believe that targeted measures can be taken to address them.
Without a doubt, one of the primary causes of declining student attention is the lack of engagement in the classroom. As students are often required to listen to long lectures, complete tedious assignments, and merely memorize formulas or regurgitate facts, they tend to become bored and mentally fatigued, which in turn undermines their concentration and motivation. A case in point is my country, Uzbekistan, where strict teaching methodologies and monotonous lessons sometimes deprive children of their passion for learning, thereby hindering their academic growth. In addition, the widespread use of digital devices has further exacerbated the issue, as students are constantly tempted to browse social media or exchange messages during lessons. As a result, disruptive behaviors have become more the rule than the exception, negatively affecting academic performance.
To restore student concentration, educators should take the lead in adopting more effective and engaging teaching strategies. This can be achieved by tailoring instruction to students’ abilities, aligning lessons with their interests, and simplifying complex concepts. Similarly, incorporating interactive activities such as debates, group discussions, and problem-solving tasks can help prevent passive learning and foster active participation. At the same time, schools could introduce reasonable restrictions on phone usage during lessons to minimize distractions. Without the implementation of these changes, lessons may remain repetitive and uninspiring, causing students to lose both enthusiasm and focus.
In conclusion, while a lack of engagement and digital distractions are major contributors to students’ inability to concentrate, a combination of innovative teaching methods and better classroom management can significantly enhance learning outcomes.

Some children can learn efficiently by watching TV. Therefore, they should be encouraged to watch TV both at home and at school. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
People have different views as to whether watching television should be integrated into children's daily routines both at home and at school in order to improve learning efficiency. While the educational value of watching TV cannot be disregarded, I believe that promoting this habit would be counterproductive, as it may ultimately harm a child's physical development.
Without a doubt, television offers valuable opportunities for learning efficiently. If children were encouraged to watch carefully selected TV shows at home and at school, they could gain deeper insights into diverse topics like geography, nature, and even politics, thereby cultivating a stronger sense of general knowledge and global awareness. As a result, they might find it easier to understand difficult school subjects and grasp complex academic concepts, thereby leading to better academic performance and greater future prospects. In a world where many students get distracted and lose concentration during traditional lessons, incorporating educational TV programs might make learning more fun and engaging, which is essential for knowledge acquisition and information retention.
However, in my view, children should be discouraged from prolonged TV viewing. When children become accustomed to sitting passively in front of TV sets, they are likely to ignore outdoor activities like walking and playing sports, which can reduce their levels of physical activity. This type of sedentary behavior undermines immune function, disrupts metabolic balance, and impairs overall physical resilience, potentially affecting longevity and overall quality of life. At a time when many children already suffer from chronic health conditions such as obesity and diabetes due to limited daily movement, increased screen time might pose a serious threat to their physical fitness and general health, raising great concerns for parents and public health services.
In conclusion, although watching TV has the potential to make learning more interesting and efficient, I believe that it should not be actively encouraged, since it may damage children's physical health and well-being.

No matter what you are doing, you can get far ahead of the competition and prosper if you just lock in by taking on tedious tasks, working long hours, and managing heavy workloads. But, the vast majority of people are reluctant to go all in and put all the eggs in one basket: they refuse to take their studies or jobs seriously. Do you know why they don't want to lock in and devote themselves to one thing at a time? It is because most people do not have faith in their own capabilities, as well as God's plans. Deep down in their hearts, people worry that if they dedicate themselves to pursuing a single goal or dream, they will still fail and disappoint themselves, which will finally prove how messed up they are. Consciously or subconsciously, they fear that even if they give 100% of their energy and attention to a single target, they would still miss it and screw things up. So, instead of trying to the best of their abilities, they just rationalize their fucked up habits, their fucked up choices, and their fucked up lives. Instead of working genuinely hard, they just make excuses and blame external factors. They say that if they had the right support, the right condition, the right mentor, or the right system, they would be able to accomplish their goals and make their dreams come true. So, only by lazing around and doing a bunch of degenerate, stupid things can they convince themselves that they would actually be admirable or successful if they had the right path to stick to. They don't want to admit that they already have the right path to follow, the right support to capitalize on, the right condition to thrive in, and the right mentors to look up to.
Simply put, people don't want to work hard because they think that all of their efforts would be futile and it would reveal how unlucky, incompetent, and futureless they are. Laziness and procrastination are the only things that give them hope that if they tried hard in the right environment, they would be able to pull off great feats. Don't fall into this psychological trap. You can be almost anyone and achieve almost anything if you just commit yourself and try your best. The support of your family, the balance of your bank account, and the color of your skin are not as important as the effort you put in, the discipline you build, and the mindset you carry forward.

The excuse fades, but the dream stays.
The fun passes, but the pain stays.
The friend leaves, but the family stays.
The lust withers, but the love stays.
The world deceives, but faith remains .
Let go of what is fleeting.
Hold on to what is lasting.
