We are looking for a detailed-oriented Middle QA Engineer to take ownership of our product quality, ensure seamless user experiences, and help us scale our robust features.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
End-to-End Testing: Conduct thorough manual functional, regression, integration, and UI/UX testing across our web applications.
API Verification: Rigorously test RESTful APIs, webhooks, and backend integrations to ensure data consistency and system reliability.
Bug Life Cycle Management: Detect, isolate, document, and track bugs in Jira/Linear with clear, reproducible steps and actionable logs.
Release Ownership: Collaborate closely with product managers and frontend/backend engineers to sign off on weekly production deployments.
Test Documentation: Maintain and update clear test cases, checklists, and QA documentation as the product rapidly evolves.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
Experience: 2–4 years of commercial experience as a QA Engineer, ideally within a SaaS, B2B, or high-paced startup environment.
API Testing Mastery: Strong proficiency with Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools (manipulating collections, environment variables, and basic assertions).
Web Tech Savvy: Deep understanding of DevTools (inspecting network traffic, analyzing console errors, manipulating cookies/localStorage).
Database Basics: Ability to write basic SQL queries to verify data updates and backend state changes.
Product Mindset: You don’t just follow test steps—you understand the user's pain points and actively push back when a UX flow feels broken.
Communication: Strong English (Intermediate/B2 or higher) for clear bug reporting and cross-functional team syncs.
Nice-to-Haves (Bonus)
Familiarity with AI/LLM-based products or prompt testing.
Basic knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) or a desire to transition toward QA Automation.
Experience testing analytics dashboards or complex data visualizations.
