Some experts say for road safety cyclists should pass a test before being allowed on public roads.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Many specialists argue that cyclists should
pass a road safety test
before being allowed to ride on
public roads
. While I agree that basic training can
improve safety
, I believe that
making such tests compulsory
for all riders is
unnecessary.
It is true that almost all cyclists are required to take special tests and pass them before being permitted on public roads for road safety purposes. This is because there are a considerable number of cyclists who are not fully aware of
traffic laws and safety regulations
which they are required to
follow strictly
in order not to
cause dangerous accidents and collisions
over public roads.
Consequently
, these
possible wrecks
could lead to
traffic congestion and disruption in urban and rural transportation systems.
In order to prevent
road mishaps
and
mitigate the risk of mess
resulted from careless and untrained cyclists, setting up
mandatory tests and compulsory assessments
would be a suitable solution to those road issues. The trainees should be taught
road traffic laws, safety-conscious behaviour, public awareness
throughout the courses before riding on the roads. Passing these kinds of road tests
plays a pivotal role and raises awareness
among cyclists.
For example, one of the famous cities like Tokyo, Japan has
a myriad of
cyclists who are allowed to ride over the roads after passing specific exams. As a result, there are almost no accidents observed caused by cyclists.
On the other hand,
enforcing strict road measures
can
discourage people from using eco-friendly transportation means.
Cyclists should be
granted permission
to travel freely on roads where there are no risk-prone areas, such as less residential zones and traffic. In fact, cyclists in countrysides tend to
strike a balance between freedom and safety,
growing up riding bicycles from their young age and there may not be
a need for particular training courses of cycling.
To sum up, whereas
organizing certain rudimentary courses and necessary tests
to pass in
dense and urban areas
might be one of the recommended solutions in order to prevent
a wide range of road chaos,
I consider that
implementations of compulsory cycling exams
would be
of less importance
in the areas where there is
the least likelihood of
accidents.

Environmental problems are everyone's problem and they affect everyone. Although some attempts have been made, there have been few solutions.
What are the reasons for this and how this can be solved?
It is true that issues related to the environment concern everyone and have impacts on all members of society. In this essay, I will examine the causes behind the problems of the environment and cite possible solutions to tackle them.
One of the biggest problems in our contemporary society is the excessive use of private cars. Moreover, there are not sufficient transport systems in both urban and rural areas which lead to traffic congestion and frustration, mental strain, stress, annoyance in people when they get delayed in commuting to work.
These issues persist due to the ignorance and carelessness of, in the first place, governments and ,in the second place, individuals.
One of those examples is that certain goverments do not engage in cleaning and eliminating the litter and waste that some unethical civilians leave behind or toss away. It is also worth noting that there are more factories producing poisonous gas and fumes in the air polluting the atmosphere.
Possible solutions that I will cite hereby could include engagement of states and individuals in care of the environment physically and financially.
Firstly, governments should organize public awareness courses of the healthy environment and raise funds to protect it in case the state is unable to address the issue on its own.
Secondly, it is incumbent upon every individual ,as an integral part of the society, to take adequate care of the surroundings regardless of the type of assistance and support since every bit of it helps. Civilians are advised to hold green nature campains carrying out voluntarily public services and contribute to the reduction of private vehicles, at least once a week, by using environmentally friendly public transportations.
In conclusion, although there have been some attempts made to tackle the existing environmental issues hitherto, certain problems are seen to persist. Any issue could be resolved accordingly if authorities and individuals in charge take precautions on time.
