WIUT Business Forum 2025

On 22 October 2025, Westminster International University in Tashkent hosted the
WIUT Business Forum
titled
“Responsible Investment: Integrating Sustainable Practices and Business Success”
, organised jointly with the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The forum raised awareness of corporate social responsibility and showed how sustainable practices can align with commercial goals, bringing together government, academia and businesses of all sizes for practical dialogue.
Panellists presented corporate initiatives in social responsibility and sustainability. Representatives from
Coca-Cola Uzbekistan

InFinBank
,
UzAuto Motors
, the
Uzbek-Oman Investment Company
, the
International Finance Corporation
(Uzbekistan Office),
Korzinka
and
Chapter Zero Uzbekistan
described their organisations’ programmes and partnerships aimed at advancing environmental stewardship, social impact and sustainable development.
WIUT also presented its own social-responsibility measures. The forum concluded that responsible investment is an essential part of long-term economic and social progress.

, Westminster International University in Tashkent proudly joined the nation in celebrating
Uzbek Language Day
- a day honouring the beauty, heritage, and significance of the Uzbek language.
To commemorate this special occasion, the Culture and Creativity Centre organised a vibrant event filled with performances, creativity, and cultural pride. The celebration featured live music and dance, a traditional fashion show, poetry and dramatic performances, an engaging quiz competition, and a colourful cultural and book fair. Guests also had the chance to meet renowned film and theatre figures, adding a special touch to the day.
