it was like a dream
β
βAt
the hotel we stayed at in Dubai, there was an English translation of the Qurβan placed in every room. When I opened it, I saw a QR code for free download, and most interestingly, you could even request a hard copy with free delivery to take with you.
All you had to do was scan the code and enter the hotel name, room number, the phone number youβre using in Dubai, and your stay duration.
Since we only had one day left before leaving, they said they might not be able to deliver it in time, but the hotel offered it as a gift instead.
A small gesture from the hotel, but one that carried deep meaning.
Itβs encouraged in many Islamic traditions, to make the Qurβan accessible in respectful ways.
And I felt that intention in every detail.
After coming back home, I met with many of my peers, mostly people my age, two year older or younger. Talking to them, I realized how driven and hardworking they are. Each one is trying to improve themselves, and I truly admire that.
Even though,I noticed that many of them, deep down, feel unsatisfied with themselves.
When I ask why, they struggle to explain.
The main argument is often, βIβm not good enough,β or βI compare myself too muchβ¦β
Ahh, my little ones, youβre just 16 to 18 years old.
Youβre studying, exploring, and just beginning to step into adulthood.
This process itself is incredibly difficult.
Youβre learning to adapt to the reality of the adult world, starting to see life not through your parentsβ eyes, but through your own. Youβre beginning to feel it for yourself.
And alongside all that, youβre working hard to gain knowledge, to be proud of yourself.
Thatβs something truly admirable.
And donβt forget, not everything has to happen by the age of 18.
I understand the pressure you feel from the people around you.
But take a moment to realize, every effort takes time to show results.
In the meantime, stop comparing yourself.
Everyoneβs path is different.
Some people succeed on the first try.
Some have to try again and again to reach what they want.
Youβre not falling behind anyone.
The most important thing is that you keep moving forward.
to the people who says break-up hurts:
sure, but have you ever had a dentist hit a nerve while treating a βkariesβ?
thatβs not heartbreak, thatβs a full-blown existential crisis
wellβ¦
I finally got my visa renewed today. This year, even the renewal process came with restrictions and difficulties.
So Iβm excited about the upcoming academic year. By the way, Iβm officially a junior now!
Since Iβm a hyperactive person, I find it hard to get along with slow-paced things or people.Thankfully, I didnβt face any issues like that!(except visa)
βback
here againβ¦
while interning at the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan, I had my first experience within the countryβs legal system.
Being part of judicial proceedings, reading cases, and reviewing decisions somehow made me feel like I belonged in this environment.
I was placed in the Civil Division, working under Judge G. Parpiyeva and her assistant B. Norboyev. They didnβt just guide me through the work, they did it with care, patience, and a professionalism that left a lasting impression.
Iβm deeply grateful to Azizjon Jamolov, an Alumni Scholar of El-Yurt Umidi Foundation and LL.M. graduate of Pennsylvania State University, for his invaluable mentorship during my time at the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.
From the very beginning of this journey, his support and guidance have made a lasting impact. With his international academic background and deep understanding of legal education systems, he helped me adapt confidently to the professional and academic environment here in Uzbekistan.Itβs been an honor to learn from someone whose experience bridges global perspectives and local excellence.
Those studying law know how challenging it is to choose a specific path, whether in the public or private sector, civil, criminal courts, prosecution, advocacy, and many other directions. Thatβs why talking to professionals working in those fields, seeking advice, is not just helpful, itβs essential. If possible, interning in those areas is incredibly beneficial. Is this the kind of work for you? Can you dedicate your full energy and effort to it? In short, itβs a great opportunity to ask yourself these questions and to find the answers.
during this time, Iroda and I tried to manage our visa, annual reports, and return tickets.
we also had the chance to see our closest friends, didnβt even notice how quickly time passed.
are you feeling good?
βSome
weeks feel like a blur.
Everything moves faster than my mind can catch up with, new places, faces, expectations.
I found myself lost in the noise, unsure where to pause, what to hold onto.
And somewhere in that rush, I realized how easy it is to carry weight without knowing it,to move forward without really understanding where youβre going.
So I paused. I asked myself questions I hadnβt dared to before.
Some answers changed my plans. Others reminded me why I began in the first place.
But more than anything, this time taught me the value of having people around you whoβve walked further ahead, who can offer more than advice,
they offer clarity.
Not everyone sees when theyβre overwhelmed.
Not everyone admits it.
But those who do, they begin again, more intentional, more grounded.
Bugun bir kitob doΚ»koniga borgandik. Ayrim kitoblarni OΚ»zbekistondan topib, hayron qoldim, ochigΚ»i. Topgan kitoblarimiz orasida, LGBT, hayosizlik va noqonuniy jinsiy aloqa qilishga undovchi adabiyotlar bor ekan. OΚ»rtogΚ»im kamida 5ta shunday adabiyotni topdi. Yana eng yuqoriga transshaxsning adabiyoti qoΚ»yilgan. Rasmdagi kitob esa zanchalishlik va birjinslilik haqida yozilgan boΚ»lib, bu kabi xatti-harakatlarni qoΚ»llab-quvvatlaydi. OΚ»zimga ham ikki yilcha oldin bir tanishim ΚΌΚΌDoriyan Greyning portretiΚΌΚΌ romanini sovgΚ»a qilgandi. Kitobni oΚ»qish davomida, kitob LGBT va gidonizmni betinim targΚ»ib qilishini guvohi boΚ»lib, oΚ»qishni toΚ»xtatgandim.
Qadrdonlar, atrofingizda odamlar qanday axborotdan toΚ»yinayotganiga ogoh boΚ»linglar.
Kitob doΚ»konlari esa olib kelishayotgan kitoblari bestsellerligi uchun emas, manfaatliligiga qarab olib kelishsa, yaxshi boΚ»lardi.
