As part of the Tashkent International Jazz Festival, Soundtravel Jazz Quartet — one of the capital’s notable jazz ensembles — will take the stage.
Led by pianist Egor Vinnikov, the quartet performs live jazz music, combining classic standards with original interpretations in a cohesive concert program. A distinctive feature of the ensemble is the dynamic vocals of lead singer Alexey Yarkin.
Join us on May 8 at 19:30 at the open-air venue behind the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”.
The festival runs from April 28 to May 13, and admission to all concerts is free!

В рамках Международного джазового фестиваля в Ташкенте выступит Soundtravel Jazz Quartet — один из заметных джазовых коллективов столицы.
Квартет под руководством пианиста Егора Винникова исполняет живую джазовую музыку, соединяя классические стандарты и авторские интерпретации в единую концертную программу. Отличительная особенность ансамбля — зажигательный вокал солиста Алексея Яркина.

Toshkent xalqaro jaz festivali doirasida “Soundtravel Jazz Quartet” — poytaxtning e’tiborga molik jaz jamoalaridan biri — sahnaga chiqadi.
Pianinochi Yegor Vinnikov boshchiligidagi kvartet jonli jaz musiqasini ijro etib, klassik standartlar va mualliflik talqinlarini yagona konsert dasturiga uyg‘unlashtiradi. Ansamblning o‘ziga xos jihati — solist Aleksey Yarkin’ning jo‘shqin va ta’sirchan vokalidir.
Sizni 8-may kuni soat 19:30 da “O‘zbekiston” Xalqaro anjumanlar saroyi ortidagi ochiq maydonda kutamiz.
Festival 28-apreldan 13-maygacha davom etadi — barcha konsertlar uchun kirish bepul!

As part of Milan Design Week, the exhibition When the Apricot Blossoms presented the outcomes of long-term initiatives aimed at revitalising the Aral Sea region.
The exhibition featured artefacts collected by participants of the Aral School programme — an educational initiative implemented in Nukus. The materials on display reflect research efforts and the search for new approaches to the region’s environmental and social challenges.
The exhibition also included a screening of Where the Water Ends, a film by Manuel Correa and architect Marina Otero Verzier. The project tells the story of the people of Karakalpakstan — among the last generations to remember life by the sea — and explores the memories and practices they seek to preserve and pass on to future generations.

В рамках Milan Design Week на выставке «Когда цветет урюк» были представлены результаты долгосрочных инициатив по возрождению региона Приаралья.
В экспозицию вошли артефакты, собранные участниками программы Аральской Школы — образовательной инициативы, реализуемой в Нукусе. Представленные материалы отражают исследовательскую работу и поиск новых подходов к экологическим и социальным вопросам региона.
Также был показан фильм Where the Water Ends режиссера Мануэль Корреа и архитектора Марина Отера Версьер. Проект рассказывает о жителях Каракалпакстана — одном из последних поколений, помнящих жизнь у моря, — и раскрывает, какие воспоминания и практики они стремятся сохранить и передать будущему поколению.

Milan dizayn haftaligi doirasida “O‘rik gullaganda” ko‘rgazmasida Orolbo‘yi mintaqasini qayta tiklash bo‘yicha uzoq muddatli tashabbuslar natijalari taqdim etildi.
Ko‘rgazmadan Nukusda amalga oshirilayotgan ta’lim tashabbusi bo‘lmish Orol maktabi dasturi ishtirokchilari tomonidan to‘plangan artefaktlar o‘rin olgan. Taqdim etilgan ashyolar mintaqaning ekologik va ijtimoiy masalalariga oid tadqiqot ishlari va yangi yondashuvlarni izlab topish zarurligini o‘zida aks ettiradi.
Shuningdek, rejissyor Manuel Korrea va me’mor Marina Otero Verzierning “Suv to‘xtagan joyda” filmi ham namoyish etildi. Loyihada dengiz bo‘yidagi hayotni hamon eslaydigan so‘nggi avlod vakillaridan biri bo‘lgan Qoraqalpog‘iston aholisi haqida hikoya qilinib, unda qanday xotiralar va amaliyotlarni saqlab qolish hamda kelajak avlodlarga yetkazishga intilayotganlari ochib beriladi.

As part of the International Jazz Festival in Tashkent, Jazzkent will take the stage — an ensemble that brings together acclaimed musicians of the Uzbek scene around the idea of reinterpreting national heritage.
Founded in 2017, the group performs in the jazz fusion genre, seamlessly blending traditional instruments — the nay and tanbur — with modern harmonies and improvisation. At the festival, Jazzkent will perform alongside the brass group of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan.

В рамках Международного джазового фестиваля в Ташкенте выступит Jazzkent — ансамбль, объединивший признанных музыкантов узбекской сцены вокруг идеи нового прочтения национального наследия.
Основанный в 2017 году коллектив работает в жанре джаз-фьюжн, органично соединяя традиционные инструменты — най и танбур — с современными гармониями и импровизацией. На фестивале Jazzkent выступит совместно с брасс-группой Государственной филармонии Узбекистана.

As part of the International Jazz Festival in Tashkent, GoGo Penguin — a British trio and one of the boldest and most distinctive voices on the contemporary jazz scene — will take the stage.
The Manchester-based musicians — pianist Chris Illingworth, bassist Nick Blacka and drummer Jon Scott — seamlessly blend jazz, classical and electronic music into a unique sonic mix. At the festival, the trio will present material from their new album
Necessary Fictions
, where live instruments intertwine with modular synthesizers, creating dynamic compositions in the spirit of Aphex Twin and Four Tet.
